Astrologer-approved Horoscopes
Want to read some good horoscopes? We got you covered daily, weekly, and monthly.
Let me tell you where I, a professional astrologer, read my horoscopes!
I wrote my first horoscope in 2017, but I have been checking my horoscopes since 2010, or maybe even earlier. Cafe Astrology, Astrology Zone (app and website), and the Time Passages app were my regular news sources.
Astrology is now a saturated field and I am not a competitive person. I have goals, but I will never fight for anything of this world. In high school I loved badminton, but before try outs coach said they’d never lost a game, they were undefeated— too much pressure. I didn’t try out. To me, badminton has always been a leisurely sport to play in the park with a case of beer, wearing terrycloth hot pants from American Apparel— not a championship game. If anyone ever tries to challenge me, for example, “I bet you can’t,” I say, “you’re right, I probably can’t.” I don’t play games. I barely play badminton.
Let me tell you where I, professional astrologer Randon Rosenbohm, check my horoscopes. I know everyone has their preferences, so tell me your favorites in the comments.
Where I read my daily horoscope
Let’s be real, I don’t. But if I did want to check the chart of the moment I would draw a chart and think for myself, or if I wanted a second opinion I would check…
The Time Passages app
This app taught me astrology before I took an astrology class. I don’t approve of using astrology apps to determine compatibility or the value of a relationship. But the customized daily horoscope tailored for your own birth chart is free. I really like that it gives you dates for when the transit is “strongest”, which is something most horoscopes can’t possibly include.
Where I read my weekly horoscope
Annabel Gat’s Substack
My go-to first recommendation for people looking for horoscopes. Annabel Gat’s horoscopes explain why she says what she says, so that you can also form your own astrological delineations too. Annabel Gat is a trustworthy astrologer and an expert at writing horoscopes. I always admire how good she is at explaining very complex concepts in not just an accessible but an entertaining way.
Rob Breszny’s Astrology Newsletter
The most poetic astrologer to have ever done it, or? The man is a legend and has had a weekly horoscope newsletter probably since before some of you were born. Before I knew I’d be an astrologer we met at an art opening in New York and talked for a very long time. He gave me his business card. He never mentions a planet, aspect, or a word of astrology jargon, but the astrology is there hidden in plain sight. It’s fun detective work for me to do as an astrologer/reader, but Rob Breszny brings the stars down to earth. And we love him for it.
Where I get my monthly horoscope
The Astrology Podcast
The Astrology Podcast is the best free educational resource on astrology. Every month they provide a free (well, you should definitely donate to their Patreon) overview of the transits of the month, and also a review of what went down last month. Any astrology jargon is sure to be explained. Plus, there are written transcripts on their website, so you can read the podcast instead of listening to it! Check out their forecast for May 2024 on Youtube, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
These are all my personal preferences, and where I go to check my horoscopes! I’m always interested in reading more, and keeping up with what everyone is up to. So if you have a favorite place to get your horoscopes, tell me so I can stay in the loop.
Also, I am available for astrology consultations again after a long hiatus! Check my calendar to book a consultation in June.
Thank you!
