Monday, June 6
The moon enters Virgo
At 08:21 the moon enters earth sign Virgo. Now that Mercury is resuming forward motion, we’re able to figure out what to do with all of this information. The final aspect
of the moon in Virgo is a harmonious trine to Mercury. Resolutions, conversations, an ability to put everything back in its rightful place. The last quarter moon is on Tuesday, June 7, as the moon squares off with the sun at 16:48 CET at 16º51’ (basically 17º) Virgo. Do you have anything near 17º mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)? I have Venus at 17º Virgo, so I’m excited to see how this relates to topics of my cadent houses.
The last quarter moon happens one week after the new moon. It is the midpoint between new moon and full moon, which are about two weeks apart. It’s the “rising action”. The event that happens now is related to information gathering and processing.

The moon enters Libra
At 17:22 the moon enters air sign Libra. The moon in Libra with its planetary ruler, Venus, at home in Taurus is super sweet. Make time to enjoy life. The final aspect of the moon in Libra is a harmonious trine to Saturn, bringing some sense of connection or relational unity which overcomes any loneliness or isolation.
Venus is getting very close to Uranus, where it will meet over the weekend. This urges us to break out of the routine and take risks when it comes to relationships, styles, and generally pleasurable things. Or maybe you don’t have a choice but to try something else, to experiment, or to invent a new style. Necessity breeds invention, but I think that with Uranus in Taurus it’s possible that many inventions have come from vanity or laziness.
Friday, May 10
The moon enters Scorpio
At 22:41 the moon enters resourceful Scorpio. I believe that Scorpio is the most resourceful moon sign. It is able to make dinner happen without going to the store, using random ingredients from the pantry. The final aspect of the moon in Scorpio is an opposition to Mercury. There is a tension between feeling and knowing.
Maybe some rational thought needs to be sacrificed in order to entertain deep emotions. Maybe there is no other way to get rid of pain but to feel it. Maybe thinking is a defense mechanism against pain and it’s not the time to over rationalized. Or maybe it’s simply a time to share your feelings, and get something off of your chest!
Mercury harmonizes with Pluto
At 23:21 Mercury, now direct, makes a harmonious trine to Pluto. This is the third time that Mercury trines Pluto! The best way to make peace with some inner turmoil is to bring consciousness to it. This is a very therapeutic aspect. It is also a way to be open about secrets, insecurities, or the root of it all. There’s a way to get to the heart of the matter, and the door is only open to people who don’t mind saying something more than once!
Sunday, June 12
Venus meets with Uranus
At 00:57 Venus meets with Uranus in Taurus, bringing pleasant surprises, or surprises to your pleasantries. Venus in Taurus wants to lounge and enjoy things, to take its time, but Uranus can feel like it’s in a hurry, or that it needs something to happen urgently. This can play out as romantic spontaneity, serendipity, or it can be that a pen opens up inside of a designer handbag and gets ink all over the inside. Something like that. Of course some eccentric people could be happy with the graceful element of chance as a visual insignia, but my mom’s not Duchamp and would probably be extremely upset if she spilled coffee all over her carefully constructed outfit.
