Monday, May 23
00:15 Mars connects with Pluto. Ruthlessness. Cutting corners to make it happen. Getting the will done, by any means necessary. Collaborative will to power.
03:15 Mercury retrogrades back into Taurus, encouraging us to reexamine our values and reconsider the things that we think look good over the coming weeks.
May 10 to June 2
This Mercury retrograde begins in Gemini and enters Taurus on May 22, finding us reconsidering options and re-examining our values. It occurs in the middle of eclipse season, bringing life-shaping opportunities and milestones. Mercury, the planet of the mind, is Gemini’s planetary ruler, so there will be a lot of tricks and riddles to this retrograde. It ends conjunct the same degree as May 16th’s full moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio, finding us extra hungry for information and seeking suitable answers. There are many different ways things can go, but in the end, we settle on one choice that feels perfect.

Tuesday, May 24
There’s a minor pileup in Aries from late Tuesday evening to Friday morning. Mars, Jupiter, the moon, Chiron, and Venus— 5 astrological bodies— are clustered in this zodiac sign!
05:26 Mars connects with retrograde Mercury. Reconfiguring the agreement and game plan, because it didn’t work the first time. Mischievous plotting. Pranks.
13:05 Venus connects with Saturn. A favorable connection for a long-term, structured relationship agreement. Pleasure in toiling. Tele-friendship.
23:39 The moon enters Aries, where it will meet with Jupiter and manifest some beginner’s luck. The final aspect of the moon in Aries is a square to Pluto, breaking down complicated emotions into simple bites.
Wednesday, May 25
01:17 Mars enters Aries, its home sign, where it will meet with Jupiter, which happens once every two years. Even though Mercury is retrograde, things are happening impulsively, locally, less patiently. Cutting the case.
23:48 Mercury, retrograde, harmonizes with Pluto, also retrograde. Freedom from oppressive ideas. Letting go of obsessions. Being honest to oneself. Speaking of secrets to relieve them of their gravity and move beyond.
Friday, May 27
08:22 The moon enters Taurus, the sign of its exaltation. The final aspect of the moon in Taurus is a trine to Pluto. Material abundance, but not without toiling and exhaustion.
08:28 Venus clashes with Pluto. Confronting uneven power dynamics in relationships. Changing connections based on a new regime or new leadership.
Saturday, May 28
16:46 Venus enters Taurus, its home sign. Physical beauty and harmony on the material plane. Appreciation of and attraction to nature’s majesty.
Sunday, May 29
12:30 Action planet Mars meets with Jupiter, pushing everything over the edge. There’s a breaking through of all barriers and borders so that what needs to get done, happens.
19:22 The moon enters double bodied Gemini. Gemini’s planetary ruler, Mercury, is retrograde. This can be a few days of more miscommunications or uncertainty. Remember to keep communications as straightforward as possible, and to reject a false sense of urgency.
