horary: where's her purse?
when my friend asked me to use astrology to find her purse, I took the opportunity to draw a horary chart
My studio mate lost her purse the night before a flight. She was, of course, very upset and asked if I could use astrology to see if she could get it back. I asked the question “Where is her purse?” on April 9, 2022 at 10:38 PM CET on that Saturday and drew the chart for the question.
I used all of the horary books on my bookshelf, and walked through the chart step by step. At first glance, that is a lost, forgotten purse, but I wanted to use my books to extract more info. My advice, ultimately, was that she would not get the purse back before the flight, but the chart shows that some of the items can be recovered. She messaged me today April 21, 2022, at 4:00 PM CET, to say that her purse has been located! She did make her flight, too, and was allowed back into Germany. Thank heavens.
This is a radical chart. J., the quesitor, has a Scorpio rising nativity, which matches the ascendant of the horary chart. The 2nd house of possessions is the quesited, the thing that’s being asked about. The ruler of the 2nd house of possessions is Jupiter, which is next to Neptune. This can be “forgive and forget” but also “forget.” The item was left behind near a church— very Jupiter/Neptune/Pisces! Mars and Jupiter were in aversion, so I was really concerned about her getting it back. On second glance, Mars was close to its ingress into the sign of L2.
After following every single piece of information in every single one of my horary books… I messaged
She immediately filed a report of a missing item. In Berlin there is a special office for missing items. That’s where she found her purse today!
Is it possible that the purse was given to the bureau within those 27 hours? She found her purse in 12 days. I think the moon is the thing that tells time in a horary chart, since it moves the quickest, and I might need to do more research with timing. Fortune is at 12 degrees, which is interesting. It’s said that in a horary chart the position of fortune can tell the location of an object..
I came up with this “27” time unit based on the number of degrees between the lord of the 1st house, Mars, and the lord of the 2nd, Jupiter. She found the purse whenever Mars entered the same sign as Jupiter, Pisces. More specifically, when it met with Venus, the ruler of the 7th house of relationships.
In the horary chart, the ruler of 7th house represents the person who found her purse. The 1st house ruler, Mars, represents J. When the ruler of the 1st house, Mars, transited to meet the ruler of the 7th house, the interests of the two parties aligned! I’m guessing the person who found the purse was inspired by the church to do the right thing.
Maybe I should have rephrased the question before drawing the chart. I think ultimately she wanted to know if she was going to be able to travel. I told her to try to do it anyway. The moon in the 9th house of travel indicated the passport was the most important possession. Luckily that was recovered, along with everything in the purse, and she was able to go on her trip. That’s the power of Jupiter in Pisces. 🙏
horary: where's her purse?
The IC in a radical horary chart about a lost item is the location of the item. It's the rightful place of the item... the L1 was 13 degrees from the IC... the purse was recovered in 12 days.
